Family Picnic

Flag Retirement Ceremony at the Campfire (2001)
Our last official activity of the year is our Family Picnic held in June. It is a family event so Mom's, sister and brothers can come too! We camp on the field behind St. Theresa's School on Saturday afternoon. We cook, play all kinds of games and simply have fun! At night we have our campfire and cook marshmallows on sticks and make smore's. At our campfire program, we have a flag retirement ceremony for a worn out American Flag.

Annual Fishing
|
|

Each year, the Trumbull Veterans of Foreign Wars Post sponsors a Fishing Derby for kids. Grownups are not allowed to fish -- it is ONLY for kids! This year a number of Pack 168 members tried their hand at fishing. Not too many fish were caught but some great door prizes were taken home.
